To the parents and players
I’ve started handing out the Trojan discount cards to the players. They were delayed this year and we will only have a short time to sell them. I am asking for everyone’s help to sell the cards. They are a great card again this year and we get really good returns from the sale of these cards. Costs have gone up everywhere, as I’m sure you all know. An example is our helmets went from $240 to $380 a piece over the past 2 years which is just under a 40% increase. Our Peace River trip cost just under $4000 in bussing and hotels alone. We pride ourselves at keeping the cost of our program down, $275 per player is the cheapest cost to play High School football , that I know of in the province. The sales of the Trojan Discount Cards are the biggest reason that we can keep our cost to play so low. I thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
