Hey Everyone! As some of you may know, one of our coaches, Joshua Kofoed has been offering to help players workout during the offseason. He talked to the manager at the Edgeworth, or Augustana Fitness Centre and he agreed to give all athletes working out with Josh discounted student rates. The discount is as followed: Monthly: $37.50 (was $57.25), or Yearly: $287.75 (was $462). Also memberships include use of the track upstairs and free lane swim at the swimming pool. Former Trojan Alex Loosemore named to the Prairie Football Conference Rookie All Star Team.
Former Trojan Alex Loosemore, and current Edmonton Huskie, has been named to the Prairie Football Conference Rookie All Star Team. Loosemore was a 3 year starter on the offensive line for the Trojans and team captain, has taken his talents to the junior football ranks and he represented himself and the Trojans very well this season.
We are all proud of you, congratulations Alex!
The Camrose Trojans football banquet date has been set for December 8 at the Camrose Composite High School. Doors open at 5:30. The player’s tickets are covered by the team. Any guest tickets are sold at $20 each. Please pay for any extra tickets at the Camrose Composite High School Library.
We are pleased to announce that Edmonton Huskies head Coach Iain MacLean, who has just won the Prairie Football Conference coach of the year, will be there to share some words as our guest speaker. Congratulations Coach MacLean.
It’s the Last week of the season and we are playing the Wetaskiwin Sabres in Wetaskiwin on Friday at 7 pm.
Practice this week will be regular time on Wednesday and Thursday.
No practice Monday due to Halloween and most players work on Tuesdays. Enjoy the break guys and come refreshed for Wednesday.
A Big thanks to the players who came out for the final blitz night on Friday. We did very well this year. A reminder to those who have cards/money that you haven’t turned in. I will take the last of them in at practice on Wednesday.
